Hello, we are Christina and Ian. We have a small but growing jewelry company, Retuned Jewelry, where we hand make high quality jewelry from repurposed, used guitar and bass strings. We generally spend much of the year traveling around as a vendor at large music and art festivals. We have participated at events such as Coachella, Rocklahoma, Riot Fest, Blue Ridge Rock Fest and many others.
Music has always been a big part of our lives. When we started Retuned Jewelry, one of our goals was to be able to give back to the community that has meant so much to us. We have worked with several organizations to raise money such as MusiCares, NIVA, Blue Star Connection, Team Left Hand, Homes for Our Troops, and the Hornbuckle Foundation. We have made jewelry using strings from such artists as Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Billy Greer, Barry Dunaway, Roger Fisher, Danielle Nicole, Walter Trout, and others.
In 2021, when many events were still shut down by the pandemic, we started String Together as a way to raise money to help the struggling live music industry. Proceeds from jewelry auctions were donated to MusiCares as well as NIVA to support the various workers and independent venues that were affected.
We have spent so much time in Southern California. It's hard to watch the news reports and see the area in flames. We know so many amazing people in the area; friends, musicians, and other small business owners. Retuned would not exist if not for the friends we have made in Southern California.
It's time we get to work and String Together some help one more time...
